Super-Team Family #11: Supergirl, the Flash and the Atom in "The Other Side of Doomsday!"

Super-Team Family
was a comic book anthology series published by DC Comics in the 1970s that lasted for fifteen issues. The series published a mix of original and reprinted stories. Though short-lived, Super-Team Family is considered one of DC's better "reprint" titles of the 1970s.

DC published several other ... Family titles concurrent with Super-Team Family. These included Superman Family (1974-82), Batman Family (1975-1978) and Tarzan Family (1975-76). As a rule, DC's ... Family titles contained mostly reprints, and featured a higher page count (and higher price) than DC's normal books. (Years later, Marvel Comics paid homage to DC's ... Family titles with their 2004-present Spider-Man Family.)

Super-Team Family's prestige partly comes from the fact that the stories chosen for reprint were generally "important" stories on their first printing, yet were not reprinted elsewhere ever again. Another reason the title is held in high regard is that it wasn't exclusively a reprint title; there was significant original material sprinkled throughout. Indeed, given the trend of its last few issues, Super-Team Family was transiting to an entirely original title.
